Hold on to me cause you can never second guess New Jersey or its Bear Mountain blues and Pennsylvania has the same old view and never the less we smiled and by arrival i was singing: Hold on to me for fresh air I've been mopping up the rain but I don't remember everything we said. So hold on to it if it's really been this long then save me an explanation but don't put it in a colored envelope its been too hot to hold and too close to call it anything less than disappointing you disappoint me you never go alone. Hold to me when you need it if you need it don't hesitate just breathe me in. ungh. Three weeks ago we sang in the back seats while the mountains wept and washed out all of the snow from route 17 the crows lined the medians and all the grey clouds fell on like a sheet a cross draped in flowers and the hours both pass whenever songs end they could never last too long too old just like the road but I'm here so hold me hold on to me close.

The Weather 03:37
Drive around the city to lay my head onto you I'll never make it through She's got nothing but me and I'm gone I've been thinking about my new escape plan I know you said you wanted me to stay at least it's what you said but I'm sick at heart and tired.

Lausanne 03:25
Lausanne on the hill bursts in my lungs pries my eyes from the lake kept passive sovereignty from the shadows of the mountains cast in the war fresh in the minds of locals all prepared for the worst hatred lingers only in the breath of the old and is forgotten as its dispersed in the fresh air I've been a fool for way too long I tried to bury you in the recesses of my heart for weeks and only visit you in my dreams resting with your seams we're touching down but I'm never coming home again Lausanne.

The Push 03:05
All the places i've collected were never really there and the last thing I remember was staring at your hair your hair greater nights of silence fell from heavy morning breaths windows carved in out of frost bring my head to rest when im alone wanderers and useless in a stagnant water stare we're up here on the balcony where the lake affects the air im jumping off there's nothing like a free fall to take the air supply from you your lungs are calling empty with a voice you never knew and I'll take a leap of faith and never once look back above follow your orders when the push has come to shove. All the places I collected were never really there and the last thing that I remember was staring at your hair your hair.

when you open up wide on instinct you'll be open now for years and your arms are full of color but colors won't stretch across 86 I can still smell scents of summer on your favorite gloves feelings wild like being a child again please don't build me up I can't move when you're watching me I can't help but want you to leave so save save save all your words for me pull me back cause she's a dead ringer I'm head over heels pull me down I don't want to be the clown again not again and why oh why please come dream with me.

The Weekday 05:01
when you leave it on the weekday then the end won't tend to lay out all my walls that hold my old face and I'll make these shapes to fit around my legs throw my hands around her neck cause when you go alone its not so bad I'm not sorry for all the things that I should have done maybe its just that I'm afraid if I apologize you'll see how sorry I really am but fuck that yeah hell yeah when you leave it on the weekday left humming in my bed so spread out all in once place set into shapes across my skin so i kissed the square and threw a knife across my neck cause when you go alone its not so bad you leave it on the weekday why you want to leave me on the weekday coming out yeah you're coming down. its inevitable inevitable
